Don't use Me
Don’t use me
Don’t use me up
Don’t lift me high
Then spill the cup
Don’t cry the most gutless help cry and make me think you need me
With hopeless eyes and grieving
With cloudy eyes to seize me
Don’t leave me cold
Don’t kill my soul
Don’t lock me up
Then let me go
I see you
And you see me
And I free you
Then you believe me
A perfect plan
Still working out
You fall to sleep
I work it out
You need me
I love you
You see me
I receive you
Don’t try my hope
Then watch me cry
Then leave me down
With precious lies
I need you
To believe me
You need me
To help you
You lift me up
You can’t let me down
I wait for you
And you look around
You tried every combination to live life and feel life and hold tight, but all that it led you to was confusion and strife. You seek after peace but don’t know you live twice, you live thrice, you live
You give
And I give
And I give life
You want me
And I want you
And you feel me
And I fill you
I know you
And you don’t know me
But I heal you
And you
Need me
And you need me
And I receive me
I am
me
My journey is leading me to make a deeper connection with the Lord. He shares will me the tendency we have to just call on him when we are in trouble. We don't realize how often we cause our own trouble by not staying in his presence. We don't spend time with him as we need to for our spiritual strength. The Lord has a desire for us to know him. He has the concern for our soul health and our spirit growth. He doesn't want us to suffer but he wants us to have an abundant life, beyond materialistic needs.
He wants you to live vibrantly.
Is not your life more than food and remnant?
Do we not understand that we want to be happy?
The Lord wants to lead us to that happiness. He wants to lead us to peace. He is our help, he is our savior, and he is our peace. He calls his people back to himself, to be his servants and his witnesses. I thank God for his call.
But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel:
“Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
Isaiah 43:1
