Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
Ezekiel 33:11 KJV
Lord, Forgive me for I have sinned.
There was a time in my life where I would have thought that taking time for confession was something that only Catholics did on a consistent basis. I often prayed and asked God to forgive me for the things that I did wrong, but I was never specific. I never claimed that my own personal failures had much to do with my choices in life. Instead, I would murmur and complain when things went wrong in my life. “Oh Lord, why did this happen to me? I’m a good person aren’t I?”
The thing is that we are not good people. We are human and therefore we are sinners. The Devil (also known as Satan, Lucifer, the angel of light) is a master of using our sins against us and taking them in front of the heavenly court to accuse us of wrongdoing. Now his knowing of the law surely surpasses our knowing. Why? Because we don’t read our bible! We don’t study it intensely because we don’t love ourselves and we don’t love others. If we did study it, we wouldn’t find ourselves in the predicaments that we often find ourselves in. If we did love God, we would be all in and we wouldn’t be so ignorant of his word, his promises, his blessings and his curses.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Hosea 4:6 KJV
So, we have to be better. We have to smarter in order to fight the wiles of the enemy. We can often find ourselves under the deception’s spell. What I mean is that the devil is so skilled in how to bring judgment upon you, your life, and your loved ones, that he will hold back the report of your sin so that he can attack you all at once. He will accuse you at the most sensitive points of your life just to make you weaker. He makes you weak by bringing an attack on your life one ruled offense at a time. He knows you. He has studied you and he knows where it will hurt you the most. Don’t Be stupid! The devil hates you and will do anything to see you destroyed! He wants your fate to be his fate; at the bottom of the lake of fire forever.
The Devil, however, is so deceived that he doesn’t see that the Lord will never let you go. He loves you too much. The Lord has us in the palm of his hand and he will not let us go.
There is this preacher that I started listening to online. I like his and his wife’s ministry very much and I talk about it often. He writes songs and had presented the following lyrics to his congregation as a form of encouragement and affirmation:
God is not against me
But he is in it with me
working through me
Fighting for me

This is the good news about what the Lord has done for us. He has made a way for us to be free. He had made a way for us to claim mercy on the court by claiming the blood of Christ as the savior of our sins. We must go before the Lord humbly in prayer and ask for forgiveness from the great judge. We present our case to Jesus and he speaks for us. Do we know this? Do we know that the Kingdom of heaven has a heavenly court with a great judge? The Judge is our father. He loves us. He is not against us but he is working through us. He is not trying to let the enemy win! However, if the enemy can keep us in ignorance about our legal right as kingdom kids, then he has indeed tricked us. WE MUST GAIN KNOWLEDGE OF OUR RIGHTS!
We have authority to turn from our wrong way of thinking and to step into the protection of the Kingdom as sons and daughters of God! We are his people!! Therefore we have Kingdom rights. We can put our pride aside and ask for help. We can ask for protection. We can ask for forgiveness. We can go before the Lord in prayer:
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.
2 Chronicles 7:14-15 KJV
Now, there was a thing that I recently learned that I will start applying to my life. I will make it a continuous practice to ask the Lord for forgiveness for my wrong thinking.
We can and should continuously ask for forgiveness!
This should be a consistent type of prayer in our arsenal against the enemy.
Lord forgive me because I have sinned.
This opens up a plea to the court to hear your case. It might even allow mercy to befall your judgment that the enemy just accused you of. Mercy is not receiving what you deserve, but instead receiving a lesser sentence, judgment, or even getting the case thrown out. You may be guilty BUT your sentence could be less because of "time already served!" Change your mind and learn your rights! Forgiveness changes things.
Yet and still, most of us remain ignorant of our rights. We forgot the law. We stay in this life of sin and we continue to get abused by the enemy's kingdom. We continue to complain, “Why is this happening to me? Aren’t I a good person?” Well, you my friend remain ignorant of the law in the unseen. The law must be carried out. The proceedings must carry on. Just know that asking forgiveness is an essential part to living a good life.
Lord forgive me for I have sinned.
Let this blog post serve as notice that the blog will keep going. I will write for God. I will continue to press towards the mark of the higher calling. May no words, forces, curses, or spells come against the word of the Lord. May no words, forces, curses, or spells attempt to block the message of the Kingdom. This blog is protected by a heavenly decree that the truth will endure from generation to generation. May every work of the enemy against this blog return to the evil camp from which it originated and destroy it from the root. The axe of the truth will cut it down. Amen.
May God bless you real good. Until Next Time.
