I am not going to sugar coat this existence that we are currently living.  It is hard.  It is hard to try to figure out what we are supposed to be doing.  It is hard to figure out what is the most profitable way to spend the time that we have here on this earth.  It is hard to manage what we have and even harder to let go of the things that we don’t need anymore.  However, who is telling us that we have to figure it all out? What is teaching us that we have to have things always figured out?

 

Marie Forleo wrote her book to where she proclaimed that “Everything is Figureoutable.”  She made some pretty bold claims, many of which I agree with.  However, I think we live in a world where everyone feels that everything should have an explanation.  The things that cannot be explained are just waiting to be “figured out” in a way that requires scientific evaluation, exploration, and explanation.  I am not a scientist, although I am familiar with some processes.  I have an underlying fundamental belief that some things should just be left alone.  

 

I feel that each generation holds secrets to the power to solve mysteries that they were created to solve.  I also believe that these mysteries can only be solved in a fulfillment of time, in a fulfillment of experiences, and in the fulfillment of human growth. We are moving so fast in some intellectual discoveries but our spiritual areas have been left to die. Information is not knowledge.  Knowledge is not understanding.  Understanding comes from multiple intimate conversations with God that can only be had when you have a relationship with him.

 

We live in a world that will try to convince people that there is no way that people can communicate with God.  We live in a world that doesn’t believe that God is real.  This world becomes angry at anyone who claims  that he is alive, and real.  Why is this?  The existence of God is not something that needs to be figured out, it is something that is revealed to your spirit.  I feel that the creator, my father in heaven, has allowed our modern day science to uncover certain mysteries to later show scientists how little they understand. Science knows and understands nothing compared to the omnipotence and omniscience of the holy one.

 

Why am I so sure?

 

I am sure because my spirit is sure.  It is sure to the point that I don’t have to try to convince you are hit you over the head with a bible.  There are people who know, through the experiences of their life, that God is real.  It is what science calls a qualitative narrative study.  If you took the time to write down and analyze the data of your life, I am sure that it will reveal the omnipresence of the holy spirit.  BUT, I am not trying to figure that out. I was not made to figure it out.  I was made to give gratitude to the one who figured it out for us.  This is my gratitude practice.

 

There are some things that have been explained through a two thousand year qualitative phenomenological designed study examining the behavior of humankind.  The results of the study are for us.  The findings are to help all mankind.  You can find the field notes in a book called the new testament.

 

The conclusions are:

 

#1 That all human beings are sinners and are tempted through the flesh to fulfill the pleasures of the flesh and therefore be separated from God Forever.

 

#2 That human beings cannot save themselves.  If they were left to figure it out on their own, they would destroy each other, destroy the world, and destroy any hope of an everlasting life that was promised to their spirit man before the line of time began.

 

#3 Humans need a savior.  Man needs a doctor that not only understands the disease that aims to kill the spirit, but  also intimately knows the inside of the body, the mind, and the spirit. The doctor has to successfully cut out the cancer and separate the flesh from the spirit.

 

#4 The only one that could do this thing is the creator of the Human Race himself. God the father, the holy one, the great spirit, and the creator of everything entered into his creation. He became familiar with its current deceased state.  He assessed the severity of our diseased state and came up with a treatment plan.  The first step for our survival was a blood transfusion.

 

It has already been studied, calculated and figured out for us.  The blood of Jesus allows us to live.  It gives us new energy, new sight, and new perspective about what life is about.  What it does not do is give us the right to try to figure things out on our own. We will mess up the calculations every time.  We are human and we miss the truth all the time.  What Jesus allows us to do with his healing blood is to hold the capacity to love again.  Love is healing.  Love is rejuvenating.  Jesus gives us a perspective of truth. We need him because he is the only one that figured it out.

 

I continue to promote and encourage people to seek after the Lord for encouragement, hope, motivation, and food for your soul.  He said that if you really do thirst or if we are too heavy with the burdens of this world, then we can turn to him.  Let us turn to him so that he can restore our souls.
