Why do we trust ourselves to know anything on our own?  This is what allows the enemy to place us in those deep dark places.  And if you think that your anxiety and worry is keeping you down, imagine those who are stuck in addiction, alcoholism, pornography, fornication, and or idolatry.  Imagine those who don’t know God’s love for them.  We must tell the world that our God is just and sees the pain of his people.   He will heal, he will restore, and he will make new again. 

 

We are all fighting for our lives.  But there are some of us who are in better situations than others.  The Lord has given us strength and sight to fight the good fight.  He has also called us to be a help to those in need.  We have to be better so that we can be a better help to those in need.

 

We all have walked through some pretty hard times.  However, I know that there are people out there who have gone through harder times and more difficult situations than I have.  I know that there are people who have been walking through dark valleys for decades and they can’t seem to find their way out.  I sympathize and I know that there is a way out if they can only find Jesus.  I also recognize that people who are desperately hurting are probably not reading this blog. How could they? They don’t have time to read inspiration and motivation if they are busy fighting for their lives!

 

 The people who read this blog are the ones who have the capacity to help others. You have made it out of something!  You are able to see that the Lord has a plan for your life. Those who are in the deepest pits can not see what they need or where to go next.  We as Christians have a duty to help those who can’t see the light.  This call to help has become more difficult than ever before. . .

 

Before I talk about our Christian duty I need to confirm that you know who you are.  If you have your right mind and know that there is a God, then you are on the right track.  If you believe that Jesus came to earth to die on the cross for your sins,  you are on the right track.  If you believe that he sent his holy spirit to guide you through rough times because there is an enemy out to destroy mankind, you are on the right track.  We must know these truths in order to understand how much God loves us and how much he loves the world that he would give his only begotten son so that his creation can be reconnected to him forever.

 

There is some confusion that is going on in the world.  We, as true followers of Christ have failed in conveying that our God is also a jealous God. He will judge and correct according to the truth that is and always was.  We, as humans, determine what is true based on our current circumstances.  We like to logically reason through what we think should be right based on how we feel.  God is a spirit who does not operate as a human.  He is absolute and does not use logic to make his decisions.  He knows the truth.  He sees all, knows all, understands all, and does not operate in a timeline.  He sees around and through the present, the future, and the past.  He is a living God who will not accept death as a final answer!

 

He invites us to take on the mind of Christ.  He invites us to understand truth and reason with truth!

God is the one who is going to clean us up.  We all have fallen from the place where we should be.  Some have fallen longer and deeper.  But we as Christian should know how long and high and deep the Lord will search for us to make us new again!  He loves us that much!  All of us.

 

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

 

Ephesians 3:18-19

 

So, let this be motivation to us as Christians to continue the work of Jesus Christ.  Let us go out and tell everyone about the saving grace of our father in heaven and about the coming of his Kingdom.  The Lord will surely deliver us out of dark places.  He will deliver those who are stuck.  The Lord will use us as the message carriers when we answer his call.  This is our reasonable service.  

 

Let us not stop pressing towards the mark of a higher calling.  So, as we go out to share this good news about Jesus and his sacrifice for all mankind; Let us also with grace and humility share the message of repentance and a changed mind.  Let us do this so that we don’t fall into the pits of darkness that the enemy has dug for us.  Let us do better.  Let us be better. Let us really grasp how wide and long and high and deep his love is for us and his creation.

 

I continue to promote and encourage people to seek after the Lord for encouragement, hope, motivation, and food for your soul.  He said that if you really do thirst or if we are too heavy with the burdens of this world, then we can turn to him.  Let us turn to him so that he can restore our souls.
