Thoughts and Actions Steps towards 2020

Are we ready for the count down to the new year!!!

These are some thoughts that I am going to review going into the new year.  I wrote them in 2017 and I am looking them over to see if I learned any lessons these last 2 years.  Friends, focus your mind on improvement. Review your year. See and recognize the places that you need to grow.  This life is about growth, progress, and process. These are the things that represent success.

I pray that these thoughts speak to you on a level that you can apply your own action steps for 2020!

#10

Your words are powerful, so the things that come out of your mouth are sacred.  We ought not say things that contradict our promises. . . when we say things that contradict, they then fight against each other and can be used against us.  This creates curses in your life. . . The enemy can legally use your words against you in the Kingdom court. . . Why? . . . because it is written law: When a man vows a vow unto the Lord, let him do everything that he says.

see Numbers 30

Action step: I will keep the promises I make to myself.

When we know the word of God . . . I mean really know it, then we are downloading that in our spirit.  We are using the same mind as Christ and fighting against the enemy with power and wisdom . . .We have to stop hoping that we are doing the right thing but know that we are doing the right thing!!

Download the word of God in your Heart!

Action step: I will continue to study the word of God.  I will meditate on it. I will have good success. (Joshua chapter 1)

We are in a foreign language course:

We are students of the Lord-studying his word-understanding it through our interpreter the Holy Spirit.  We should be listening and following the instruction of the teacher- reading, writing, speaking, and sharing this language with others.  We should be practicing it everyday so that we can speak it in its original tongue. Listening carefully to the accent and learning the dialect of the Holy Spirit.  We need to understand the region, and the culture from which this language originated. Then and only then will we be prepared to speak with the locals once we leave this place. . .

Action Step:  I will start speaking the Kingdom.  Podcast, here I come . . . .

Dear Lord, Help me to see each individual soul for the awesomeness you have in store for him/her.  Every child is special- Every person has a purpose- Every soul has the potential to grow- Every spirit that comes from the father has the opportunity to be born again.

Action step:  I will continue to teach and share about purpose on this blog.

Every day is a new opportunity to change your mind about who God really is?

Develop a personal relationship with him and he will draw closer to you. . .

Action step:  Talk to God everyday.

#5

I pray this because my words are powerful:

I bind any curse that I have spoken against myself, against my family, or any person doing the will of my father in Heaven.  I no longer speak against anyone's purpose. Let any words that the accuser tries to use against me be caste down and destroyed.  Lord forgive me for the things that I spoke in ignorance. Continue to guide me in spirit and in truth. Let this be lifted up and made whole and made complete.  May I continue to speak things in existence that is the will of my father. May the Lord's will be done so that his kingdom will come. Amen

Action step:  I will not speak slander, gossip, or against anybody's purpose.  Edification only. If I don’t know what to say to lift a person up, I won’t say anything at all.

Thank you Lord for the opportunity to grow . . .

Here's the thought:

If you don't prepare someone to move up and take your place, how can you ever leave to take advantage of your next opportunity to grow?

Action step: Train my kids how to do this.

#3

Faith is a currency.  The more you use faith in the natural, the more you have access to your inheritance in the spiritual.  Start wrapping your head around the exchange in Kingdom culture . . .I will show you my faith by my works. . .

Welcome to the Kingdom

Action steps:  I will make bold moves before I am ready.  My decisions are aggressive because I have faith to believe in the promises of God.

#2

Who wants a teacher who is just going to give you a cheat sheet to the test? That's a lazy teacher- That's a teacher who doesn't care.  But a teacher who carefully plans the distribution of information so that each student may discover at his own level; one who teaches how to obtain wisdom and understanding through application and creativity, - Well, that's the teacher I yearn to become . . .

Thank you Lord for being that kind of teacher!

Action step:  I will write my dissertation and continue in the doctoral program.  I am a Doctor of Education.

One of the greatest problems with explaining the road to success is the gap of connection- once one achieves success, he almost always forgets the dialect in which he originated; thus unable to communicate efficiently and effectively to the ones he has left behind . .

Solution:

Record your Journey on your way to success . .

Action step:  I will continue to journal.  I will continue to document. I will continue to review.

Moving from 2019 to 2020

I have learned so much this year.  It has truly been a year of growth.  I am understanding more and more about how the decisions I make today will affect my tomorrow, in other words, the decisions I made 5 years ago are dictating what is happening in my life right now.  Friends, I encourage you to have faith in the process. I encourage you to spend more time with Jesus (the Holy Spirit) if you truly wish to change your life circumstances. Change what you do today.  Change your way of thinking, your thought processes, and the actual thoughts that are in your head. You do this by changing what you feed your mind. Make better choices. I pray that you have a fantastic 2020!

Until Next Time
