Let's Get Ready for Double Portion

Bishop TD Jakes calls it the Autopsy of a Decade. . .

Friends,

I greet you with salutations and Love.  I am praying that you have entered the New Year with hope and encouragement.  I would like to offer you new perspectives on this upcoming year by letting you know that this can be your year.  This can be the new start for you to change your future.

Her goes the thing, the promises of God are waiting for you to open your eyes so that you can take hold of your promised land.  This means letting some things go so that you have the freedom to walk, better yet RUN, after your destiny.  If we remain in the same old way of thinking we will never obtain what is right in front of us.  Friends we are very much living our modern day grand Exodus!!

I send to you this encouragement for 2020: Follow that small still voice.  The more you listen to it the louder it becomes.  The Lord wants to lead you to a greater vision.  This is why 20/20 is the Year of vision.  Your eyes will be opened to great and new opportunities.  Keep your mind fixed on the Lord and he will lead you first to a place of rest, then to a place of forgiveness, then to a place of strong faith, then to a place of strong action.  He is waking us up so that we can truly see that he has been with us this whole time!

20/20 is the Year of Vision

There is also something very significant about this New Year, it is not only a new year but a new decade!  It is said that we often over estimate what we can accomplish in a year, but under estimate what we can accomplish in a decade.  So let us plan with the Lord.  He says that we should reason with him, come up with a strategy to overcome what ever enemies were set to destroy us.  It is time for us not to be controlled by fear of the giants that are inhabiting our promise land.  It is time to be strong and courageous; it is time to be aggressive; it is time to leave the slavery mindset and prepare ourselves for double portion.

20/20 is the Year of Double Portion!!

I like this following teaching for the New Year from Bishop TD Jakes.  Check it out.  It was very encouraging.  He made some good points about perspective and mindset.  I had a whole notebook of notes and I don't have them in front of me . . . so, I will leave you to make your own notes.  If you would like to discuss leave a note in the comments.  Enjoy this teacher Tuesday: Autopsy of a Decade:
